There's a lot of food associated with this time of year as much as anything else. We've made it past turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Now Christmas dinners, office get togethers, New Year's celebrations, and of course College Football Bowl Season brings another list of treats and goodies to snack on. So what are some ways limit the bad stuff in and maintain an at least somewhat healthy diet this year? Try some of these.
1. Plan ahead. If you have parties on the weekend be aware of that and make sure you eat very healthy during the week. This way you'll feel less guilty after eating one unhealthy meal than doing it the whole week.
2. Make an effort at your office to bring healthier snacks. You don't have to totally forego the cookies but be sure to have fruit and veggies around. Than it takes a little self discipline to make sure you actually eat them.
